Monday the 14th...My Favorite Day of the Week

Today was a pretty good day, but since Mr. Smith is still illin' some students chose to misbehave for the substitute. Today we continued to divide decimals by whole numbers in math and the fourth graders talked about congruent shapes. In social studies the fifth graders read about busy farms and seaports during colonial times and the fourth graders did an experiment involving a motor during science. After lunch and recess, we received our new spelling lists and read chapter 8 of The Odyssey. Finally, we wrote blog entries on last Friday's Project LEAD lesson as it taught us about refusal skills. Let's wish Austin and Corey luck with their robotics work tomorrow during the competition.
