Conferences Day 3

I'm going to apologize in advance for the short entry, but I have an appointment and my conferences ran long. Today we discussed polygons in math. The fourth graders discussed comparing fractions and played some Pearson Speed Games during their math time. After lunch, the fourth grader went to band while the rest of the students read chapter 2 of the myth “Persephone”. Finally we worked on our thank you letters to Project LEAD and had some JiJi time. Tomorrow is the Jogathon and it is going to be hot. As such, you may wish to send your kid with a hat, shorts, sunscreen and water. We'll have water and fruit on site, but you may wish for your child to be totally prepared. It should be fun.
