Thursday...almost as good as Friday.

Today was a pretty good day. We had our Reward Day, from 2-2:45, during which the students (who earned the privilege) were able to play games they bought from home with their classmates. Mr. Smith and I (Mrs.Barnes was working with the fourth graders to finish the NAEP test) held a meeting with all the fifth grade students regarding the motivation, behavior, responsibility, attitude of some of them. It worries all of us that it seems their education is more important to us than it is to them. Please continue to encourage your son/daughter to be a responsible, motivated and respectful Johnson citizen, as this year will have a bearing on their placement for sixth grade.
