Today was the second part of the California Standards Test. We took the second ELA part today and you should be proud of your kids. No one complained or cried (except me:). Tomorrow we'll take the section of the math assessment. We'll test all the way until the 7th because grade 5 students have to take the science portion as well. Please be sure your son/daughter goes to bed 30 mins. earlier than usual, gets a good night's sleep, eats a healthy breakfast (@ home if they don't what the school serves) and arrives EARLY to Johnson. This year is of great importance than usual because this test will be used to determine your child's placement next year.
Important Information:
1) CST testing until the 7th
2) Book of the Month: Uncle Jed's barber shop.
3) June's character trait is patience
Homework:
Math: Go to bed early
Reading: Wake up early
Language Arts: arrive to school on time
Spelling: Eat breakfast
Science: Try your best
Social Studies: Check over your work
General: Smile
